The Sand Springs Lego Team ventured to Lagoon last Friday to compete with other schools around the district. 5th graders competed in the AMAZE-ING competition where their robots were timed going through a maze. 6th graders competed in the SUMO competition in which 2 robots battle each other in a ring. Our teams competed well and had a great time. Special shout out to one 5th grader who took second place in the MAZE competition and also received additional awards! Our Sand Springs team received the sportsmanship award for the event!
